Who doesn’t love a little drama?
In a copywriting group I’m in someone dropped a sales letter and told people to critique if it was good or bad.
A lot of mixed opinions started to roll in. Some were praising it, others were tearing it down.
Little did they know, the sales letter they were bashing on was actually written by a 7-figure marketer. And he was quietly pulling in millions of dollars just from that sales letter alone.
Talk about a plot twist.
The original guy who posted the message told everyone to take out a piece of paper… write the words “My Ego” on it… crumble it up… and throw it away.
Just goes to show you don’t always know it all.
There’s always room for improvement.
Even the people who bashed on the sales letter came in cocky and left humbled.
Which reminds me…
A couple of months ago, I got served a big slice of “humble pie”. (It tastes terrible btw)
I thought I knew everything about affiliate marketing. Yet, I was only making random sales here and there and couldn’t figure out how to make it consistent.
Not exactly a master.
So, I decided to go undercover and study what the top super affiliates did to get so many sales.
I carefully read all of their emails.
I studied all of their promotional campaigns.
I dissected all of their presell pages.
Eventually, I started to pick out certain tricks they were using to get those crazy results. They turned out to be a lot simpler than you might think while still packing a HUGE persuasive punch behind them.
I want to share with you exactly what I learned.
Here’s what to do…
Drop your ego.
Forget everything you think you know about selling online.
