How to Find Profitable Niches Fast

I want to talk to you about something very important that can make or break your success online.

What is it?

Two words…

Niche selection.

More specifically:

  • What niches should you go into?
  • What niches should you not go into?
  • How to know if the niche you’re in will make you money?

Here’s a mistake I see happen time and time again.

People pick the product they’re going to promote BEFORE deciding on what niche to go into.

This is 100% backwards!

You should always find a profitable niche first and THEN see what products to promote.

Another mistake I see is,  people go into a random niche because either they’re either interested in it or they feel like it would be something fun to do. They don’t have any idea if people in that niche are actively searching for what you’re selling, or the content you’re putting out.

You could find a niche with a lot of people in it, but if nobody is whipping out their credit card and buying, it’s a total waste of time.

How to Find Profitable Niches Fast

The one thing I do before going into ANY niche is to make sure it falls under one of these 3 categories:

  • Wealth
  • Health
  • Relationship

If you look at any guru, or big time marketer they all made their money in of those three categories. That’s where you should put your focus!

What makes them so powerful?

They’re emotional based.

You have to remember one thing. People don’t buy with logic, they buy with emotion. These 3 broad niches fit that criteria.

People in them have a burning pain or desire to get something or to go away from something.

For example, in the wealth niche people want to have freedom and make tons of money. They’re super motivated and will go through hundreds of articles, blog posts, forums, and products to help them make money.

In the health niche, people might want to gain or lose weight. They’re constantly searching for new diets, what foods to eat, what foods not to eat, exercise routines, etc. More importantly, they’re spending a ton of money to get their hands on this information.

In the relationship niche people want to either get in or out of a relationship. For example, the pickup niche is super popular in this space and there are tons of people actively searching up information on how to get girls.

It’s Time to Get Specific

After you’ve decided which of these 3 broad niches you want to go into, it’s time to get specific.  It’s always good to niche-down and find something that’s more targeted.

Here’s an important lesson I learned a while back:

If you try to reach everyone, you’ll reach no one.

Trying to get every single person to go to your website is going to take a lot more work than if you dial it down and be more specific with who you want to target.

You have to remember that specialists make more than generalists. In a hospital, the general doctor makes a lot less money than the heart surgeon or brain surgeon.

When you get more specific with your niches, you’ll make a lot more money than if you try to get everybody all at once.
